Folios 608-609: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reply to letter dated 18 November 1806 in the case of Hans Abrahamson, who's discharge has been applied for by Mr [Claes] Grill the Swedish Consul. He was impressed on shore at South Shields by Lieutenant [James] Dathan on 25 April 1806. He had arrived in the ship Friendship, a discharged Transport from Portsmouth and called himself an Hanoverian.
