Folios 596-597: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reply to letter dated 13 November 1806 in the case of Thomas Scoones who's discharge has been applied for by Joseph Brown. He was impressed in North Shields by Lieutenant [John] Mitchell on 13 October 1806 on board the Maria of Rochester, Joseph Brown Master.
Folios 598-599: enclosure with folios 596-597. Letter dated 11 November 1806 by Joseph Brown, Strood, Kent, to the Admiralty. As master and Owner of the Maria of Rochester maketh oath that Thomas Scoones Mate of said vessel. [Also on folio 599] Petition for the discharge of Thomas Scoones signed by Joseph Brown. Dated 11 November 1806.
