Folios 180-181: William Charleton. Regulating Captain, North Shields. Advises that he is unable to investigate the cases of Matthew Davidson and Robert Robertson whose discharge has been applied for by Mr Baker, as they have already been sent to the Nore on HMS Eliza on 29 March 1805. States that the Indentures appear to be legal but he has not seen them before and that he has no records of any documents being produced to prove that the were not liable to impressment.
