Folios 67-68: Charles Cobb, HMS Glatton, the Nore. Notice of arrival. The Utrecht Dutch ship struck on the Aldborough Knapps which damaged her rudder, she was taken in tow by two Pilot vessels and bore her up to Yarmouth. He sent HMS Lutine after her. HMS Mars had her main mast carried away near the Show Beacon and the Pilot of the Batavia was reluctant to weigh anchor. He left HMS Veteran and Mistislaw to take care of them and proceeded with the rest. He would like to praise all the Captains and Officers in charge of ships for their good conduct. He has received orders from Admiral Alexander Graeme to send four two-deck ships off Helvoet Sluys, he sent HMS Monmouth, Captain George Hart, HMS Belliquex, Captain Rowley Bulteel, HMS Ardent, Captain Bertie and HMS Veteran, Captain Dickson. He has heard HMS America, who he sent to bring up the rear, has struck the Aldborough Knapps.
