Folios 47-48: Charles Cobb, HMS Glatton, Yarmouth Roads. He is sending letters for Admiral Dickson [Archibald Dickson] HMS Nancy. Lieutenant Serle informs him the Mayor instructed him to take the Carew men to the Alien Office, they are now on board a packet. He has instructed the Lieutenant ro return to his former station under HMS Latona. Captain Sotheron [Frank Sotheron] has pointed out how useful HMS Courier has been, for standing off the Flie. Captain Temple [John Trmple], HMS Jalouse has asked for a survey on his plank, which he has ordered to be done. Captain Colin Campbell, HMS Latona brought in the Prosper American ship, Mr. William, Master from Hamburg. She has 600 stand of arms on board said to be bound for New York but Captain Campbell was suspicious of her destination.
