Folios 43-44: Charles Cobb, HMS Glatton, Yarmouth Roads. He sent a Lieutenant to find the Messenger and see him aboard HMS Liberty. HMS Xenophon arrived having seen her convoy as far up as Harwich. HMS Jane lugger, Lieutenant Tait commanding stopped by HMS Latona and this morning sailed to join HMS Scorpion. HMS Courier, Lieutenant Serle commanding, arrived at 10am from off the Flie, with a vessel under Russian colours sent in by HMS Latona. Lieutenant Serle reported there were two men on board of the name of Carew, who had lived in England but were sent out on suspicion os seditious practices, he told the Lieutenant to report this to the Mayor. Captain Southeron's [Frank Southeron] letter to Vice Admiral Dickson reports on ships seen.
