Folios 128-129: Thomas Gordon Caulfeild, HMS Aurora, Portsmouth. Samuel Skinner, made Acting Boatswain by Earl St Vincent, has returned. He says he was taken ill and could not return but that was because he was drunk. He is not a fitting person to be a Boatswain.
