Folios 24-25: George Campbell, HMS Dragon, Cawsand Bay. James Bright has been charged with felony and murder. He has been kept in irons in harbour. He has had no enquiries from magistrates and Bright is sober, quiet and industrious. Letters from his mother say that William Hutchings, the deceased and employer of Bright, did not die from the blows inflicted by Bright.
