Folios 203-204: Edward Cooke, HMS Sybille. Reports that he left China on March 20, 1798, with HMS Fox, HMS Trident and the 16 merchant ships listed in the margin. The convoy passed down though the [South] China Sea, reached the Straits of [ Banca ?] on 20 April, but because of the South East Monsoon was not able to clear these straits until 12 May, entered the Sunda Straits on 17 May, and after a stop at Angra Point he left the convoy at Latitude 10º [N] and Longitude 100º E today.
