Folios 305-306: William Edward Cracraft, HMS Aquilon, at sea off Scilly SSE 5 leagues. Spoke with an American ship who said she had been brought to by six enemy sail of the line who he supposes are the same as those chased by Admiral Colpoy 20 December. Sends report with the Verona East Indiaman who he has seen safe thus far. Has sent a pilot onboard to take her to Milford Haven which parted company off the Western Isles 21 December with HMS Prince Fredrick and the Worcester, Boyd, Sovereign and Caledonia East Indiamen.
