Folios 244-245: James Cornwallis, HMS Sheerness, Carlisle Bay, Barbados. Reports arrival from coast of Angola with the two ships and brig mentioned in the enclosed list. Will proceed to Jamaica after he has taken on provisions and water which he very much needs because of the length of the passage from the coast. To call in at Martinique on Rear Admiral Harvey’s orders and will take as many vessels bound to Jamaica as a willing to accompany him. He will send the journal of his voyage when he arrives at Jamaica.
