Folios 183-184: William Collis, HMS Dromedary, Sea Reach. Reports she is sixteen men down on her complement. Two, John Warwick and William Fair, Able seamen were lent, 27 October 1796, Earl St Vincent ordered onboard HMS Virago and of whom he sees no likely hood of seeing again. Requests to be supplied with effective men. He works his way down with the ebb tides when the fog subsides. Says he has no chance of obtaining their Lordships answer till he reaches Portsmouth where he anxiously endeavors to get to.
