Folios 165-166: William Collis, HMS Dromedary, Deptford. Received orders. Will proceed to Spithead when ready for sea. Writes again as Mr Dix, the Lieutenant sent some time ago to replace Charles Turner, his senior Lieutenant who his Surgeon sent to sick quarters due to extreme ill health, hasn’t arrived yet. He has no Lieutenant and the Master rendered incapable because of a hurt sustained getting the stores on board. Requests a Lieutenant is appointed and Mr Dix ordered to join the ship immediately. His crew is twenty four below complement. Requests men from HMS Enterprise.
