Folios 251-252: Thomas Wittewronge Whitewell Clayton, HMS Prince William, Hull. He proceeded on 15 June 1791 to cruise on the coast and prevent any ships from going to the Nore, and on 17 June joined HMS Lord Hood who had similar orders. He met with a number os ships from the Baltic and has they had no convoy and carried valuable cargo he accompanied them off the Humber. Those bound for London were to call for intelligence, which he also did and discovered the mutiny at the Nore was over. He returned to this place in case he was needed as convoy and left HMS Lord Hood to cruise.
