Folios 245-246: Thomas Wittewronge Whitewell Clayton, HMS Prince William, in the Humber. Report of an encounter with two privateers, with HMS Lord Hood, Wright and Sally. The privateers managed to get away but they did prevent them taking a number of trading vessels whish were in shore. The Signal Flags have not arrived, asks for them to sent as soon as possible.
