Folios 481-482: James Cranstoun, Tunbridge Wells. Asks whether his pay as Captain of HMS Bellerophon will cease after six weeks leave of absence. He considers it unfair if this is the case, and asks whether there is any way to prevent it happening. He is slowly gaining strength, but if the rules mean that he will lose pay, then he will make an effort to return to the ship.
