Folios 386-387: John Cooke, HMS Nymphe, Plymouth. Reports that Jonathan Davis (Ordinary Seaman) and Jonathan Evans (Able Seaman), who are on his ship, brought with them a list which states they were pressed, but they state that they enlisted. This has been checked with the Recruiting Officer at Swansea who confirms that his books state that they were volunteers. Requests that they are awarded the King's Bounty, which they have not received.
