Folios 384-385: John Cooke, HMS La Nymphe, Plymouth. Requests a replacement Boatswain for Thomas Crump, who has been hospitalised since the vessel was commissioned without any prospect of return. Recommends Nicholas Dodge, who has been Acting Boatswain as ordered by Admiral Onslow. Requests two additional 9-pounders which can be accommodated in the two spare ports on the quarter deck.
