Folios 255-256: James Colnett, North Yarmouth. Encloses his report of the coast of Suffolk. His last report was sent from Southwold. He is now travelling to Cromer and will send his next report from there.

Detailed description of the coast from Southwold to North Yarmouth, describing possible landing sites, anchorages, road communications with the interior, and sites of batteries. Makes recommendations for protection of the coast. Lieutenant March has provided a copy of his report about men in the area, and Lieutenant Ellis reports that including men employed on inland navigation there is a potential for press gangs.
