Folios 220-221: Francis Collingwood, HMS Hindostan, Mole St Nicholas [Haiti]. Reports that following an order from John Thomas Duckworth, Commodore and Commander in Chief, Santo Domingo, appointing him to HMS Hindostan, he was replaced as Captain of HMS Cormorant by Captain Thomas Gott of HMS Drake. Only a few hours after he was replaced, HMS Cormorant was blown up, and his books and clothes were lost. Requests a dispensing order for the books containing the months of April, May, June, July, August, and part of September 1796, which were completed and were to have been sent home the following day.
