Folios 176-177: Francis Cole, HMS Revolutionnaire, Cawsand Bay. Reports that Christopher Martins, Purser, has been absent without leave since 26 January, and he has requested a replacement. Now asks that Robert Ramsey, Purser of HM Armed Ship Chapman, is appointed as replacement. He has served many years, including 5 under Captain Cole, and is a worthy man.
