Folios 414-415: John Colvill, HMS Star, Harwich. Refer to his letter dated 28 November 1795. He arrived in Cuxhaven on 2 December 1795 but due to the weather he could not leave but was able to see what ships were in the Texel to be at least twenty ships of war, seven being two deckers, some had their sails struck, some were Dutch and some French.
