Folios 410-411: John Colvill, HMS Star, Gravesend. Reply to letter dated 13 November 1795 enclosing [not present] a Petition, Indentures & Affidavit respecting Robert Williamson an Impressed man now on HMS Star. When the officer from HMS Star boarded the Providence on which Robert Williamson belonged the Master showed Protections and Indentures for all except Robert Williamson which is why he was brought on to HMS Star being thought fit for HM Service.
