Description

Folios 371-372: James Colnett, Harwich. Reports his arrival here with the Engineer's Officer but having found the Coast of Essex in a very defenceless state we have thought it advisable to report from here to our different Boards. Another party of Engineers under Captain Reynolds on the same service as Captain Lewis Hay, has requested his remarks which he declined without an order from the Admiralty.
