Folios 361-362: Cuthbert Collingwood, HMS Excellent, Spithead. Having received orders from Admiral Sir Peter Parker to receive on board HMS Excellent a quantity of Royal Marines clothing to be delivered to Gibraltar. On application to the Store Keeper at this port he was informed that the clothing has not yet arrived but is expected. Request to know if it has not arrived by Wednesday 8 July 1795, should he wait. Reports that Captain Thomas Taylor who he was directed to receive on board to join HMS Fortitude has not yet appeared at Portsmouth and Captain Thomas Lennox Frederick has informed him that he goes by land to Leghorn.
