Folios 504-505: George Cockburn, HMS Phaeton, the Nore. As directed by Rear Admiral Bartholomew Samuel Rowley, he reports that Henry Holmes was taken from the Manning because he appeared to be of age, and one aboard HMS Phaeton he volunteered to serve, and is on the list to receive the bounty.
Folios 506-507: enclosure with folios 504-505. Petetion dated 15 August 1803 by John West, Master of the Manning of Newcastle. Applies for the release of Henry Holmes, his apprentice.
