Folios 492-493: Alexander Inglis Cochrane, London. He has been asked to report on the qualifications of John Roussel, Peter Morris and Jacques Granjean, all of whom served as pilots aboard HMS Ajax. Reports they were attentive to their duty, but he had very little opportunity to examine their qualifications, as aside from visits to Belleisle and Rochefort, the ship spent most of her time on station off Ushant.
