Folios 112-113: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reports that William Humphries was impressed at Sunderland on 29 October 1803, because he was a seaman and his ticket of protection as a Sea Fencible only authorized him to serve from his own district to the River Thames.
Folio 114: enclosed with folios 112-113. Printed protection ticket for William Humphries as belonging to the Sea Fencibles for the Coast of Sussex, issued by Captain Isaac Schomberg at Hastings on 15 October 1803, and authorizing him to go only as far as the River Thames.
