Folios 66-67: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. He has been asked to report on the case of Richard Moore of the Sea Fencibles. Encloses a copy of his letter of September 30, 1803, giving his reasons for detaining Moore, which the Admiralty approved.
Folios 68-69: enclosed with folios 66-67. Letter dated 14 October 1803 from Captain Sir Edmund Nagle, the Sea Fencibles, Brighton, to the Admiralty. Reports that the Regulating Captain at Newcastle has detained Richard Moore, one of the Fencibles under his command. Asks that he be discharged.
