Folio 599: Malcolm Cowan, HMS Euros, Spithead. Informing Admiralty of arrival at Spithead from Cove of Cork on Orders of Captain Gardner of HMS Princess Charlotte. Encloses copy of the Order.
Folio 600: enclosure with folio 599. Order of Captain Francis Farington Gardner of HMS Princess Charlotte dated 15 July 1802. As a result of survey which reported HMS Euros to be unfit for service, ordered to go to Portsmouth, report arrival to the Admiralty and await further orders.
