Folios 557-558: Charles Coote, Latona, Deptford. Reports that William Lingare, Boatswain of HM Sloop Ranger, fell overboard from the one of boats previous night and despite all efforts drowned. Requests that Samuel Manning, preciously Boatswain of the Star brig be appointed. Confirms Ranger went into dock that morning,
