Folios 553-554. Charles Coote, HMS Ranger, Woolwich. Sailed from Deptford that morning but when approaching Blackwater Reach a collier brig"beating up" ran across the hawse and damaged the upper part of the knee of the Head. Has anchored at Woolwich to get it repaired before proceeding to Portsmouth.
