Description

Folios 270-271: Alexander Cochrane, London. When Fleet under Lord Keith was at Malta on way to Egypt, Mr Bunsdock, Purser of the Ajax, was appointed Agent Victualler at that port. Since then there has been no Purser on the Ajax and the Commissioners of the Victualling are objecting to my ship's accounts not having a certificate. Requests Admiralty orders the issue to be dispensed with.
