Description

Folios 225-226: John Colvill, HMS Ambuscade, Plymouth Sound. Has sent into Plymouth for adjudication a part of the cargo from the American brig Susannah (Thomas Donohue, Master) from Philadelphia bound to Amsterdam with a cargo of sundries which appears by the ships papers to be all American property excepting 113 hogheads of sugar for which there is no documentation. Owing to bad weather has not been able to fall in with the ships that he has been ordered to look out for.
