Folios 141-142: William Cayley, HMS Invincible, Yarmouth Roads. Encloses [no longer present] a statement of the condition of the major ships now at Yarmouth. HMS Laconia sailed for the Downs this morning and HMS Martin for Elsinore. Yesterday he sent HMS Raven to join HMS Favourite off Gorée, and the cutter HMS Phoenix departed on 4 September 1800, to join HMS Inspector off the River Texel. HMS Romney and HMS Waaksamheid arrived last night from Vice Admiral Archibald Dickson's squadron and the armed lugger HMS Jane, Lieutenant James Haldane Tait, from a cruise off Shetland.
