Folios 111-112: Charles Carter, Admiral Bligh's, Gosport. Understands that HMS Adventure, which he has been appointed to command, is still at the Downs because of adverse winds. He was advised by Admiral Sir Thomas Pasley to come to Gosport to learn what was happening to her, asks the Admiralty's advice about how he can join his new ship as quickly as possible.
