Folios 104-105: Charles Carpenter, Hull. In response to the Admiralty query about the Russian soldiers landed there, reports that Lieutenant Alexander Beck of General Sudkoff's Jager Regiment and Ensign Avanassie Callankoff of General Arbenoff's Regiment, with 56 privates, were today put aboard HM Armed Brig Pomona, Captain Thomas Innes, who has orders from Admiral Lord Duncan to carry them to their destination. There remain 32 privates and one Surgeon still under the care of the Sick and Hurt Board at Hull.
