Incorporated by act of 13th July 1863. Under powers contained in London & South Western Railway Act of 1880, and by agreement approved in August 1879, Seaton & Beer Railway Company was transferred to London & South Western Railway Company as from 1st January 1888. London & South Western Railway Company became part Southern Railway Company as from 1st January 1923 under Railways (Southern Group) Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 22nd December 1922.
