Folio 337: Wiliiam Stanhope Badcock, HMS Brune, off Nassau. Due to his frequent misconduct James Oliver, late Master's Mate was placed before the mast and discharged into HMS Canso. He has therefore made William Turner Master's Mate. He has 15 years service, 11 as Quarter Master and hopes/hoped to get a gunners warrant for which he is well suited.
