Folios 320-321: Arthur Batt Bingham, HMS Myrtle, Milford Haven. Having been asked to point out any difficulties arising [from a proposed plan?] he states that Thorney Island obscures the Signal Post from much of the harbour so he proposes to build a second one which would command the harbour as high up as the Dock end. Without this signals would need to be repeated from St. Anns.
