Folio 293: Thomas Brown, HMS Saturn, Hamoaze. Encloses an acting order for Mr. Robinson of HMS Saturn who was ordered to the ship at his [Brown's] request by Admiral Griffiths. Asks he be confirmed to the Saturn.
Folio 294: enclosure with folio 293. Order dated 16 November 1814 from Edward Griffith, Rear Admiral, Commanding at Halifax. Orders him to HMS Loire as Boatswain. There is a vacancy on HMS Saturn the former boatswain having been invalided.
