Folios 288-289: Samuel Butcher, Killarney, Ireland. Encloses a letter from Lieutenant Charles Keith and takes the opportunity to state his own grievances. His Court Martial was delayed for the convenience of the Lloyds merchants. By the time it took place he was on half pay with the expenses of living apart from his family in Ireland. The charges were found to be without foundation so he asks that he be reimbursed.
Folios 290-292: enclosures with folios 288-289. Letter dated 11 March 1815 by Charles Keith, 34 Strand, London to Captain Butcher. He has been told that the responsibilty for paying the expenses of defence witnesses is with the defendant and he asks that he be reimbursed the £10 expenses he incurred.
