Folio 243: Henry Bazeley, HMS Bombay, Downs. At the request of his fellow officers he encloses a letter asking for reimbursement for the cost of entertaining two officers of the Royal Artillery in the wardroom during a journey from Island of Mar to England.
Folios 244-246: enclosure with folio 243. Letter dated 9 November 1814 by Lieutenant [Maconochie?], HMS Bombay. He says that on a journey from Madeira to England the officers of HMS Bombay entertained in the wardroom two Royal Artillery officers and their party and he asks that they be remunerated for the expense incurred.
