Folios 123-124: Adam Brown, HMS Sapphire, Falmouth. He refers to orders given him by Lord Viscount Torrington, which he encloses. He conducted a convoy successfully, with the exception of the Brig Jenny of Greenock which parted company on the night of 17 September 1814, whether intentionally of not he does not know. The wind was blowing hard against them which is why he has put into Falmouth and when the wind changes they will set sail again and head for Spithead.
Folio 124: enclosure to folios 123-124. From George Viscount Torrington, Captain of HMS Warrior dated 9 August 1814. He orders Captain Brown to collect the vessels on the enclosed list (not enclosed) from Ireland and take them to their named ports of destination and then to proceed to Spithead.
