Folio 237: George Burlton, HMS Boyne, Spithead. Asks that 1st Lieutenant John Cooke is replaced by William H. Pierson, 2nd Lieutenant, and that two new lieutenants are appointed.
Folios 238- 240: enclosed in folio 237. Letter dated 9 April 1813 by John Cooke, HMS Boyne. Asks to be replaced so he can join his Nottinghamshire friends and patron, Sir John Warren.
