Folios 127-128: Thomas Barclay, HMS Success, Spithead. Admiral Martin in Lisbon ordered him to take Major General Hope on board and told him there was not an allowance for doing so. He could not take Hope without some reimbursement, so he applied for some not realising this was contrary to Martin's wishes. Sir Richard Bickerton informed him he would receive £80.
