Folio 409: George Burlton, HMS Ville de Paris, Motherbank. He reports his arrival with 69 invalids, 115 French deserters and 8 prisoners of war.
Folio 410: enclosed with folio 409. Orders dated 6 October 1812 by Sir Edward Pellew, Vice Admiral of the Red, Commander in Chief Mediterranean, HMS Caledonia off Toulon. Orders to George Burlton, HMS Warrior to proceed to Port Mahon and board the French deserters sent by Admiral Pickmore. The ship is then sail to Gibraltar with dispatches for Commodore Penrose before sailing to Spithead.
