Folio 277-278: Robert Barrie, 22 Arundel Street, London. He asks for payment of the amount, plus interest, deducted from his expenses in preparing HMS Pomone, for accommodating and transporting Sir H.Jones and his suite from Constantinople to Britain, and for storing and preparing the ship for the reception of the Persian Ambassador and his suite of upwards of 30 persons, although for political reasons they did not travel. The cost of articles purchased in Malta was 3 times the price than in England.
