Folios 248-249: George Byng, HMS Warrior, St Helens. Thomas Davis, Gunner's Mate, has sevred since 1795 on HMS Defiance, HMS Director, HMS Raisonable, HMS Serapis, HMS Belliqueux, and HMS Warrior and is of good character. He asks for him to be made Gunner as he passed his examinations in March 1810.
