Folio 227: George Byng, HMS Warrior, Downs. He is sending a copy of a commission from Acting Lieutenant Drew. He served under him for 6 years and he rcommnded him to Rear Admiral Drury for promotion when he left India.
Folios 228-230: enclosure with folio 227 dated 31 August 1811, a copy of a letter from Rear Admiral Robert Stopford, HMS Scipion, Batavia Roads, to Acting Lieutenant George Drew, HMS Caroline. A request from Lieutenant George Marjoribanks and Acting Lieutenent George Drew to exchange of ships, is approved by both Captains. Commission appointing him Acting Lieutenant HMS Procris signed by Captain John Brenton, HMS Procris.
